Helping you maintain your Aston Martin v12 Vanquish
V12 Vanquish.com was founded by David Such to provide advice and services to Aston Martin V12 Vanquish Owners. To help them maintain their wonderful machines at more affordable levels and to enable the cars to be used more regularly.
The Aston Martin V12 Vanquish
The flagship car of the Aston Martin range from 2001 to 2007 – the Aston Martin V12 Vanquish has a presence that few other cars can challenge and its muscular stance on the road is matched by its astonishing performance from the iconic Aston Martin V12 engine that, in Vanquish ‘S’ specification, produces 520 bhp – actually more than the Aston Martin DBS that superceded it. That the car is 14+ years old and yet is often mistaken for being brand new speaks volumes for the original design
Like any car, the V12 Vanquish does suffer from some specific age and design related issues – notably Brakes, Suspension, and some Engine management problems, plus the (infamous) gearbox.
With extensive knowledge of the car, and experience working on Vanquishes, we have created specific solutions to these issues with a view to the long term ownership of these marvellous cars.
All cars ‘new’ to us are given a comprehensive inspection, with particular focus on the less well known weak spots in addition to the more common problem areas. A report is then provided and where appropriate solutions to any problems can then be discussed and a prioritised plan agreed.
We are also happy to offer bespoke servicing based on the history of the car and your individual usage requirements covering all aspects of the car, including the specialist gearbox- see AMDS news below.
News – 2022 after lockdown
We are pleased to announce that we have now completed the testing of our new exhaust system which is a fully valved replacement system from the catalytic converters to the back of the car, and we have also remanufactured all versions of the exhaust insulation blankets for standard Vanquish exhaust systems. More info on our Parts page
We now have full AMDS capability (Aston Martin Diagnostic System) and have successfully fixed problems and can repair PTECs (Power Train Electronic Control) for an inherent problem affecting many cars that cause the cars to run on only 6 cylinders.
There is also a whole range of remanufactured and improved plastic underbonnet parts and tweeter covers at sensible prices, and brake upgrades now also apply to all SDP variants of the VQ top.
More on all the above news … as soon as someone gets time to type it.
